David Jones MRTPI MRICS is Managing Director of Evans Jones Ltd and a dual-qualified Chartered Town Planner and Chartered Surveyor with more than 40 years’ professional experience. He provides strategic leadership to the business, supporting its continued growth and development while bringing a clear commercial perspective to complex property and planning decisions.
Ian Eggleton
Director of Building & Access Consultancy Dip Surv., MRICS, NRAC Consultant
Ian joined Evans Jones as an apprentice in 1993 and has never escaped! Ian now leads the Building Surveying and Disabled Access Consultancy teams and spreads his time between larger refurbishment projects and surveys, expert witness work and larger Disabled Access projects in London and across the UK. Reflecting our client base, Ian spends the bulk of his time working in the Education, Hotel and Leisure sectors, but has a wealth of experience across all sectors.
Peter Canavan
Director and Head of the Planning Division
Peter Canavan is a Director and Head of the Planning Division, leading the firm’s planning team and its provision of strategic planning advice. A Chartered Town Planner with more than 18 years’ experience across the public and private sectors.
Stephen Gwizdala
Head of building consultancy
Stephen is Head of Building Consultancy with 30 years experience in the construction industry. He has worked in contracting, surveying and managing real estate matters for a wide variety of clients. In the last 22 years he has focussed on traditional Building Surveying disciplines including: specification and contract administration, dilapidations for both landlords and tenants, reinstatement cost assessments, party wall matters, planned maintenance and development monitoring. Prior to his role as Building Surveyor he worked on infrastructure, engineering and surveying projects in Hong Kong, Gibraltar, Canada and the United States, and extensively throughout the UK.
James Wilkins
Senior Building Surveyor BSc (Hons), MRICS
James is a Chartered Building Surveyor and Project Manager, with wide-ranging experience working across a wide variety of disciplines, including Project Management, Contract Administration, Disabled Access Consultancy, Party Wall Consultancy, Residential and Commercial Surveys. James spends the majority of his time on new build and refurbishment projects working across the UK, predominantly in the Hotel, Industrial and Education sectors.
Ian Williams
Senior Planner
Ian Williams MRTPI is a Senior Planner and Chartered Town Planner. He provides planning and urban design advice across residential, commercial, rural, and mixed-use development projects throughout Gloucestershire, the South West, and the Midlands. His work takes projects from initial site appraisal through determination and appeal, with particular experience in heritage-led development, public-sector regeneration, planning appeals, local plan promotion, section 106 negotiations, biodiversity net gain, and public realm design.
Anthony Cogan
Planner, BSC (Hons), MSC MRTPI
Anthony joined our Planning team, after completing a masters in Urban & Regional Planning at the University of Birmingham. Anthony supports the Planning team in all aspects of their work, including planning applications, planning appeals and other planning services.
Wendy Ryder
Office Manager
Wendy joined Evans Jones back in 1982 as an Office Junior and is still here! Wendy covers reception and deals with all the day to day clerical issues within the office including typing up most of our Surveys, Reports, Audits and issuing invoices.
kevin Stephens
Accountant
Kevin is the Accountant at Evans Jones and looks after the company's accounts, from sales ledger and purchase ledger, through to profit and loss and balance sheets.
Amanda Stobbs
Associate Director (Planning) MRTPI
Amanada is a Chartered Town Planner with 30 + years experience in planning, development and environmental consultancy, delivering complex development consents, coupled with a wealth of experience advising upon site promotion, applications, appeals and a background in residential development, rural housing, farm diversification, environmental management, flood management, EIA, waste management, minerals and renewables.
Conor O'Neill
Senior Building Surveyor BSc MRICS MCIAT
Conor is a Senior Building Surveyor within the Building Consultancy Division of the Practice.
Conor has over 40 years experience working in the Construction and Property sectors and over 25 years Post Qualification experience as a Chartered Building Surveyor, mainly working for private sector clients.
Over the last 40 years Conor has worked in all aspects of Building Surveying but now focuses on Dilapidations, Party Wall, Commercial Surveys and Contract Administration.
