Consol Univilla run and operate a chain of tanning salons across the Midlands and South/South West of England.
Evans Jones building surveyors were appointed to act on behalf of Consol to manage discussions with the landlords of 31 outlets following the Government order to close their stores during the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020.
In order to smooth cashflow and help the company through this unprecedented time, Evans Jones proposed several options to landlords, including rent deferrals, concessions and monthly payments.
We provided expert advice to the client and handled negotiations with the landlords to arrange mutually agreeable options for each of their rental agreements.
The aim was to work with both landlord and tenant to navigate the company through a very difficult period in order to maintain a business and be in a position to thrive on the other side.
