The tenant was issued with a Schedule of Dilapidations by the landlord, with a dilapidations claim in the order of £267,000 for remedial and repair works.
We provided expert advice to the client to negotiate a mutually agreeable settlement figure. We responded to the landlord's Schedule of Dilapidations and negotiated the extent and quantum of the claim with the landlord’s surveyor.
We successfully reached a settlement between the two surveyors of £130,000, without the need for costly litigation or legal intervention.
