Evans Jones project management team was appointed to progress the scheme from the completion of the Procurement stage and to finalise contracts with the preferred contractor. This meant our team had to quickly get up to speed with the project to ensure that the overall programme requirements were met. There was the added complexity of having limited funding in place at the time of contract award.
Evans Jones created a flexible contract structure to ensure funding was in place at each stage of the project. As the site was next to the existing school, which was operational during the build, the team also had to consider additional welfare and safety issues.
The Results:
The project was completed on time and within budget.
