The Team

David Jones

David Jones

Managing Director, Chartered Town Planner & Chartered Surveyor MRTPI, MRICS

David leads our Planning Team and brings more than 30 years experience, allied to an enviable reputation for getting results. David now spends most of his time dealing with larger or more contentious projects, as well as managing the Planning Team and has particular strength in the residential, education and leisure sectors.

When not locking horns with Planning authorities, David can be found on the piste or clad in Lycra on a mountain or road bike, somewhere in the Cotswolds. Known as ‘Dangerous Dave’ to his friends, David goes downhill at a phenomenal rate on bike or skis, but would probably admit he is not the quickest in the other direction. David is also a keen sailor holding a Yachtmaster qualification and often disappears to the Med or Caribbean for a week to hone his skills (at least he says he is sailing).

When not busy tapping away on Instagram and Twitter, Willow can be found disconnecting from the digital world with a good book and a cosy blanket (or a sun lounger, on that one hot day in July!). Mummy to a very spoilt ginger kitten, Willow is often trying to negotiate cuddles in exchange for cat treats.

Wendy Ryder

Office Manager

Wendy joined Evans Jones back in 1982 as an Office Junior and is still here!  Wendy covers reception and deals with all the day to day clerical issues within the office including typing up most of our Surveys, Reports and Audits and issuing invoices.

When not at work, Wendy can be found out and about on the weekend at various local ‘Northern Soul’ music gigs or curled up with a good book - whichever seems the most appealing at the time!  Despite being married to a lycra-clad cycling nut, Wendy has no interest whatsoever in cycling (as she never learnt to ride a bike), preferring to drive to the various lovely coffee and cake stops that mad cyclists seem to frequent - purely for quality control purposes of course!
