Evans Jones were appointed to monitor the construction of a new 70 bedroom hotel located just outside central Swindon.

The new hotel, situated near to McArthur Glen Designer Outlet, is the second Travelodge in Swindon and forms part of their expansion plan to open 100 more hotels over the next 5 years. The mixed-use development comprises ground floor Costa and Subway units with the bar/café hotel above.
Evans Jones project management team worked on behalf of Travelodge to monitor the project through the construction phase to completion. It was integral to work closely with the Developer and Constructor to ensure that the hotel was progressing well and meeting targets.
Due to careful planning, Swindon West Travelodge was completed on time, to budget and in line with Travelodge’s exacting quality standards. It successfully opened to its first customers in April 2019 and has created over 20 local jobs.
