We were appointed at the Concept Design stage to complete a Design Appraisal and to then write an Access Statement in support of the Planning Application.
Our statement formed part of the over arching Design and Access Statement for what was a major application.
As part of this application process, we also liased with the Local Authority Access Officer and successfully negotiated concessions in relation to the provision of accessible accommodation.
We provided further advice at the Tender stage as part of the Design Team, working with The Project Managers, Architects and Contractors to ensure delivery of a fully inclusive scheme.
