Alec Turner

Senior Building Surveyor BSc (Hons), MRICS

Alec's experience predominantly lies in acting on Contract Administration for refurbishment schemes and in the field of dilapidations.  Alec has a wealth of experience in the preparation of Schedules of Dilapidations and the negotiation of financial settlements.  Alec acts for both landlords in the preparation of claims and also for tenants seeking to defend claims.  He acts for large corporations through to private individuals across the UK, providing advice in respect of lease obligations and using his skills to achieve settlement agreements, to avoid the costs associated with legal action.

Other skills include providing practical commercial advice in respect of acquisition surveys, planned maintenance regimes, condition surveys and the preparation of Reinstatement Cost Valuations.

When not in the office, Alec can be found in Monmouthshire or on the beach in Dorset, trying to tire out young children.  Whilst an Englishman, living across the border in Wales Alec often takes the opportunity to visit the Millennium Stadium to watch international rugby.  Alec is a keen golfer when he has the time and also enjoys skiing.
