Project Management - Boarding House Conversion

Evans Jones was appointed to manage the conversion of a four-storey Regency villa, from office accommodation to a new girls' Boarding House.

  • Location:
  • Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
  • Value:
  • 1 million
  • Service:
  • Project Management

The Regency building was completely refurbished, including restoration of the original architectural features. Brand new, contemporary furniture and fittings were installed to create a new, modern girls' Boarding House for Cheltenham College's day and full boarders. The house included bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas, as well as housemistress accommodation.

As part of an ongoing relationship with the College, we project managed the conversion of the building, from advice on the initial acquisition, the design phase and gaining planning and listed building consent, through to delivering the project through the Construction stages.

The project was delivered on-time, despite heavy time-constraints, all ready for the arrival of the new cohort at the start of the Autumn term.

" We can always rely on the Evans Jones team to achieve the desired results. We have continued to work with them on a range of projects and they always deliver to an exceptionally high standard and on time. I would not hesitate in recommending Evans Jones planning, building and project consultancy to others. "
