Evans Jones has now completed the project management of sixth form boarding house and study centre at West Buckland School, Devon. The build programme took place over the course of 12 months and created a range of impressive new facilities for pupils returning in September.
The study centre is built over two floors and houses a library, new classrooms, open plan study spaces, IT resources and a higher education and careers area. Sixth form students will also have their own dedicated study area on the upper floor.
The 70 room boarding house will provide sixth form boarding students with single en suite rooms along with a variety of vibrant social areas.
Project Manager Ian Eggleton, Director of Building and Project Consultancy at Evans Jones, said:
