Our initial appointment was to work with Travelodge Hotels to revise the design guidance for new buildings to reflect current best practice.
Since then we have provided guidance on all manner of projects, ranging from automated check-in terminals to specific customer feedback.
As a budget operator, space is at a premium for the client, thus our challenge was to devise standardised accessible bedroom layouts that met the needs of both disabled access users and the client by using as little space as possible.
By working with user groups and identifying the key dimensional requirements of best practice, we devised a standard bedroom layout which satisfies user needs and building regulations whilst minimising the area.
Customer feedback is testament to the success of the layout which is still in use today.
