Evans Jones was appointed to carry out an access audit of 6 reservoir sites owned and maintained by Severn Trent Water, over a 4 week period.

The diverse nature of the sites presented many challenges such as establishing appropriate disability standards and interpreting these for use on sites that were largely unstructured rural landscapes.
We were required by the client to establish appropriate standards and apply these to both the natural landscape and the more structured visitor centres at the larger sites.
Following completion of the disabled access audit, we provided a training session for the on-site property teams to help them understand and interpret results.
