Evans Jones will be launching the new RICS Homebuyer Report service on 1st December 2009
The RICS Homebuyer Report replaces the RICS Homebuyers Survey and Valuation. Evans Jones have made the decision to introduce the new format ahead of schedule as we feel the new report offers significant advantages over the old service.
Whilst retaining much of the original content such as a Market Valuation and Reinstatement Cost the new Homebuyer Report introduces the concept of Condition Ratings.
Under this system the surveyor will be charged with rating each element of the property as follows
We feel that this will offer clearer parameters to the customer and make‚ what is a very simple and concise report easier to understand for the layman.
The new format also makes it easier to highlight action points for both the client and their legal advisors.
Evans Jones will be the first Cheltenham based surveyor to introduce the new format as we feel it offers our customers a better service in what is a very challenging market.
