B.I.G.G.D. golf tournament to tee off at Cirencester

Evans Jones LLP has teamed up with Cirencester law firm Lodders and Tewkesbury IT company Charlton Networks to stage a networking LINC charity golf day next month.

The BIGGD (Business in Gloucestershire Golf Day) charity event will take place on Tuesday May 19th at Cirencester Golf Club.

Ian Eggleton – Evans Jones Partner said: :“There will be a new MINI Cooper on offer for anyone who holes in one on the 18th as well as prizes on 3 other par threes’ We are grateful to Cotswold Motor Group for providing a MINI Cooper on the day and hope this adds some interest and excitement on the day particularly if someone wins”;

They expect to have about 20 teams of four players in a team Stableford competition. The best two scores on each hole will count. There will be an individual Stableford as well.

Paul Mourton – Lodders Associate said: “We’re sure there will be some good golf played but the main purpose is to enjoy 18 holes as a social occasion and to take the opportunity to network.”

Richard Perry – Charlton Networks Managing Director explained “We also hope this will become a golfing society open to all business and professional people in the county.”

BIGGD hope to raise at least £2,000 for the Leukaemia and Intensive Chemotherapy Fund (LINC) which is based at Cheltenham General Hospital.

The Leukaemia and Intensive Chemotherapy Fund (LINC) works to improve the care of cancer patients in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and south Worcestershire. It provides financial and psychological support for people receiving intensive Chemotherapy in the Three Counties Cancer Centre in Cheltenham as well as their families and loved ones.
