Evans Jones opens Hereford Travelodge

Evans Jones, a building and project management consultancy based in Cheltenham, has developed a new 52-room Travelodge hotel in Hereford. The new hotel was up and running within two days of the works being completed.

The project forms part of Evans Jones Building Consultancy’s relationship with Travelodge Hotels Ltd to project manage the opening of more than 500 rooms per year, for the next two years, in the South West, Midlands and South Wales regions.

Ian Eggleton, head of Evans Jones Building Consultancy comments: “We have been delighted with the progress of this project. The programme for the new hotel was a constant challenge, but we managed to see the project successfully right through to the end. The finished hotel is a compliment to the design team, who have sought to transform what was previously a brownfield site into an attractive setting that serves the local area. The Travelodge hotel also offers a welcome addition to budget hotel accommodation in the centre of Hereford”.
