Conceptual Architectural Design

We have many years experience of preparing feasibility studies and sketch schemes for residential and commercial clients enabling them to assess the viability of a particular site or building they are considering purchasing for development.

These sketch schemes often go on to form the basis of initial conversations with the Local Authority to establish their stance to the proposed development in advance of a formal submission being made. In some instances these schemes then go on to be developed into full planning applications and eventually live projects on site.

We use the latest CAD and visualisation software which enables us to prepare photo-real perspectives and montages which can prove invaluable in support of planning submissions or to assist our clients in visualising the finished product. These techniques can prove particularly important when dealing with complex inner city sites. We are also able to utilise the models to produce daylight and sunlight diagrams to enable us to assess the impact of schemes on adjoining sites and buildings - a common requirement of Local Authorities to accompany planning applications.

The techniques can also provide added value to contractors working within a two stage Design and Build tender procedure as we are able to economically produce photo-real designs at the earliest stage.
